Littleton City Council Special Meeting Scheduled

The Littleton City Council will hold a Special Meeting Friday to discuss the ratification of an Emergency Declaration.

LITTLETON, CO — Amid the spread of the new coronavirus, a Special Meeting will be held Friday in Littleton to discuss the city's next steps. The meeting will be held outside to protect the council and staff, officials said.

"... while the public is welcome to attend, no public comment will be accepted," read a City of Littleton public alert.

The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. in front of the Littleton Center, 2255 West Berry Avenue.

There will be two items on the agenda:

  1. To ratify the city manager’s Emergency Declaration within seven days of its issuance as required by the city code.
  2. To add the option of holding electronic/telephonic public meetings and the ability to limit the duration of public comment to council’s Legislative Rules
