• Littleton, CO City Council Backs Framework for Expanded Recycling Access (wasteadvantagemag.com) — Littleton City Council is backing a new framework that could expand recycling access for residents by licensing trash haulers and requiring new developments to provide equal space for trash and recycling. The plan would tap Colorado's producer-funded recycling law so the Circular Action Alliance can cover program costs, potentially eliminating recycling fees for Littleton households. 
• Chatfield Farms Solar Garden grows food and clean energy for those in need (denver7.com) — Right here in Littleton, the Solar Garden at Chatfield Farms is using more than 2,200 solar panels to grow crops in their shade while generating clean electricity. All the produce is donated to hunger relief groups, and most of the power helps low-income families cut utility bills. Researchers say the shaded crops are often thriving better than those in full sun.
