The program removes application barriers, offers direct outreach on aid and enrollment, and encourages students statewide to picture themselves studying and earning a degree at CSU Pueblo.
   

4. CSU Pueblo student earns national HACU leadership honor (chieftain.com) — A Colorado State University Pueblo student has been chosen for a prestigious national HACU leadership program, making CSU Pueblo the only four-year Colorado school represented this year. The eight‑month program will help her build advocacy, policy, and networking skills while spotlighting the university's growing role in national Hispanic higher-education leadership.
   

5. Largest watershed-wide cleanup seeks volunteers from Palmer Lake to Pueblo (fox21news.com) — A major volunteer cleanup of the Fountain Creek watershed is coming up, and Pueblo sits at the downstream end where the creek meets the Arkansas River. From Sept. 26 to Oct. 4, residents can join litter cleanups, weed removal, trail work, and tree planting across the region by signing up through the Fountain Creek Watershed District.
