The Stonewall Fire Auxiliary will host its 27th
annual fishing tournament June 6 at the Monument Lake Resort, 4789 Colorado Highway 12, west of Trinidad on State Highway 12. 
Registration for the event will begin at 7 a.m. with fishing orientation set for 8 a.m. Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for youth under the age of 16 on day of the tournament. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m.
Early registration discounts are available for payments received by May 26. Register by mail at P.O. Box 10, Weston, CO 81091, online at <a href="https://www.stonewallfire.us" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.stonewallfire.us</a> or in person at the fire station, 9055 Bosque Del Oso Road, during business hours.
Raffles for Yeti Coolers, filled with goodies, and for “Split the Pot” will be held along with $3,000 in tournament winner cash prizes. Winners will be judged by weight of fish and the time weighed in the following categories: men, women and youth. Take note that boats are not permitted, and no live bait is allowed. A Monument Lake Park entrance fee will be collected at the gate or the resort office.
