Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Powerful Nor'easter Storm

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for three counties, and a winter weather advisory for five counties.

CONNECTICUT — Snow accumulation estimates are beginning to drop as a powerful nor'easter moves through Connecticut over the next 36 hours.

A foot or more of snow is still possible in northern Litchfield County and the higher elevations of Tolland and Windham County. The lower elevations of Tolland and Windham County may see six inches of snow, and the higher elevations of Fairfield County may also see six inches of snow.

For everyone else, it appears that a couple of inches of snow accumulation is now forecast, and possibly a coating of snow at the immediate coast.
