Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Sunday Across Connecticut
Snow accumulation estimates have now been released for Sunday by local meteorologists.
We've heard a lot about an impending coastal storm for Sunday/Monday over the past week. It appeared lately to be a complete miss, but now the storm may track close enough to give Connecticut some minor snow accumulation.
The chance for light snow is Sunday night and Monday morning. Those odds are now "increasing," according to WFSB 3 TV meterologists.
"We continue to monitor the eventual track of a coastal storm... model trends continue to indicate its center passes offshore from us here in Southern New England," WFSB 3 TV meteorologists. "However, the chance we may get grazed by the northern edge of the storm continues to increase. Current thinking is that we’ll see an increase in cloudiness as it develops Sunday, with some light snow at night. Minor accumulations (a coating - 2″) are possible across most of the state, especially favoring the immediate shoreline."
