CT Woman Seriously Injured After Horse Kicks Her In The Head: Reports

HARWINTON, CT — A Connecticut woman was seriously injured Monday morning when she was kicked in the head and chest by a horse, according to multiple reports.

The incident occurred on Lake Harwinton Road in Harwinton, after which the woman was taken to the hospital by helicopter, WFSB reported.

WTNH also reported that the woman's injuries were serious, citing police.

Connecticut State Police confirmed to Patch that they responded to a medical call in that area Monday morning, and the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department added that a LifeStar helicopter picked up the patient.
