How Much Did You Get? CT Town-By-Town Snow Totals
And here are new details on an "impactful coastal system" that is forecast for Connecticut later this week.
CONNECTICUT — Parts of Connecticut actually had enough snow to use a snowblower Monday morning. Portions of Hartford and Litchfield counties, both received up to six inches of snow, while in other areas of the state an inch of snow fell.
Regardless, several schools across the state had delays Monday and the roads in some areas were slippery.
State police said they responded to 350 calls for service, 54 for traffic services, which includes spin-outs and disabled vehicles, and 39 traffic accidents, including six that included an injury.

As for the work week weather forecast, it looks like it will be cold but tranquil through Thursday night and then our next coastal storm is expected. This one may start as mixed precipitation and then change to rain Friday morning and continue for most of the day. Wind gusts may approach 30 mph.
"We are closely watching an impactful coastal system for late in the week," said WFSB 3 TV Meteorologists Jill Gilardi with Scot Haney. "There is the potential for snow, rain, possibly a mix along with gusty winds. The ECMWF shows mostly rain and potentially some snow at the start and the GFS has snow to start and then rain. A lot can change between now and then and precipitation type will depend on the track of the low. We will keep you in the loop as we get new data!" (Watch the WFSB 3 TV weather forecast here).
