The Avon Athletics department would like to recognize seniors Jimmy Murphy and Stephen Griffin on being selected for the CIAC All-State Football team. Their names were not included in our recent announcement of All-State athletes because the CIAC did not make its football announcements until last week. Both Murphy and Griffin were also named to the All-Conference team.
