Avon Boy Scout Troop To Host Can And Bottle Drive

AVON, CT - Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 will hold a can and bottle drive on Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Avon High School located at 510 West Avon Road. All proceeds from the can and bottle drive go directly to scouts attending High Adventure trips this summer, including backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and canoeing in Maine. And the best thing is that you won't even need to get out of your car! Friendly and courteous scouts will happily unload your redeemables for you from your car and sort them.
