AHS Lady Falcons won their last North Central Connecticut Conference game vs. Granby Memorial with a lone goal by Sophomore Varsity Rookie Kaleigh Sherman in 7 min. left 2nd half.
With 14-2 record including 12 shutouts, they are now moving into CIAC State Tourney seeded No.5.
Those two only losses, both from matches vs. Suffield.
That will be a good lesson for the team for the tournament they are facing now and will try to defend their Class L title.
If they successfully complete their mission again, the team will make another history since 2003.
Coach James Murray, AHS Math teacher, won 3 consecutive years from 2001 through 2003 which was 10 years ago from now. Can he make another 3-peat in a decade? Let's keep our fingers crossed. Good Luck to the Team!
