Join us for a literary discussion of The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, led by Dr. Aimee Pozorski, CCSU English Department.

Family memories and emotional wounds haunt Ann Patchett’s powerful novel, The Dutch House. The novel is about forgiveness, loss, and coming to terms with the past. Aimee Pozorski’s presentation will consider how the powerful symbol of the home draws us in to the family’s saga and maintains its grip on the reader, much like the portraits of Mr. and Mrs. VanHoebeek hanging in the drawing room that witness a family coming apart, then coming together again.
