Avon School Admins Propose More Rigorous High School Requirements
The proposal could have major changes in store for new freshmen.
Avon school administrators proposed more rigorous academic standards for the next incoming class of high school freshman.
Part of the proposal is to increase the number of credits needed to graduate, according to the Hartford Courant.
Another part is to eliminate the lowest class level called “academic.” That would make the lowest level “college preparatory,” according to the Courant.
