Avon Transfer Station To Accept Yard Waste Free Of Charge Through Saturday From Non-Permit Holders

Non-permit holders will need to provide proof of residency.

The Town’s Transfer Station (281 Huckleberry Hill Road) will again accept yard waste from both permit holders and non-permit holders, free of charge, through Saturday, August 22nd during normal operating hours. Residential use only. Proof of residency is required if not a permit holder.

Normal operating hours for this week are listed below:

Tuesday, 8/18 - 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Friday, 8/21 - 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Saturday, 8/22 - 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Beginning Tuesday, August 25th, the Transfer Station will resume normal operations for permit holders. At that time, if you are a non-permit holder and wish to purchase a permit to utilize all Transfer Station services, please click HERE for more information.
