Operation Gratitude annually sends more than 100,000 care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation to U.S. service members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind and to veterans, first responders, wounded warriors and their care givers.
This year, we're partnering with Operation Gratitude and encouraging our clients and other community residents to donate their extra Halloween candy to the cause.
Drop off your extra candy or other items like lip balm, toothpaste and razors at Fitness Together Avon by Nov. 5.
Thanks in advance for your help bringing a smile to a service member's face and expressing our appreciation and support to the men and women in our Armed Forces.
