Indoor Rowing Center Opens This Weekend

Eric Rosow, an Avon High School parent, accomplished rower, businessman, and founder of AHS’ successful Crew program, is bringing rowing to the masses. Power 10 Indoor Rowing Center will open on Saturday, January 18th with an Open House from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Although it is a private business not directly affiliated with the Avon schools, Power 10 will be available to support Avon High School athletes and help develop younger athletes to feed the growing high school program. Its location, behind Luke’s Donuts, was selected for its easy accessibility from AHS and AMS.

Power 10 will feature state of the art indoor rowing equipment and technology, and a staff of knowledgeable and passionate rowing coaches (including some from AHS). Its programs are designed for participants of all ages (12 and up), fitness levels, and body types.  Examples include: introductory learn-to-row instruction; high school training and technique clinics; competitions through ‘Virtual Regattas’; one-on-one coaching and analysis; and nutritional counseling.

More information about Power 10 Indoor Rowing Center is available online at www.row-indoors.com.
