The Town of Canton Denies Avon’s Request to Replace Pole

The project to replace the existing Public Safety Communications System remains of critical importance. The Town of Canton denied Avon’s request to replace the existing pole at 170 Kingswood Drive with a taller pole. A taller pole is needed to achieve the required coverage for public safety communications. Staff is diligently working with our consultants to identify options to compensate for the loss of the site.
