The Town’s Transfer Station (281 Huckleberry Hill Road) will accept yard waste from both permit holders and non-permit holders, free of charge, beginning Friday, August 7th through Wednesday, August 12th from 7:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. (please note extended Saturday hours)
Residential use only. Proof of residency is required if not a permit holder. Commercial waste and commercial vehicles will not be accepted. Food waste will not be accepted from non-permit holders. Please deposit food waste in your regular refuse collection.

TRANSFER STATION UPDATES FOR PERMIT HOLDERS:
At this time, the Transfer Station is experiencing a power outage and is unable to run the compactors. For this reason we are unable to accept household waste and recyclables from permit holders until further notice. We continue to accept construction and demolition waste and electronics waste.
