Bethel Forward Invites Residents to Take Survey Regarding Plans for Downtown Development

Bethel residents are invited to participate in an online survey and the first meeting, "Community Voices," on October 1, 2015.

The Bethel Forward Advisory Committee has developed an online survey to request information from Bethel residents regarding the future of downtown Bethel.

Survey information will be used by the Bethel Forward consultant team in planning future development. The online survey will be available until October 23, 2015.

Bethel Forward is planning their first public session entitled “Community Voices.” The meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Municipal Center General Purpose room.

Residents can share ideas for the future development of downtown and the areas surrounding the train station. Using maps, the public will identify which ideas are feasible and what can be done to improve the downtown area. Small group discussions will allow the public’s ideas thoughts to be heard.
