Districts 3 and 5 are now composed of 4,000 voters.
A map of the redistricted area for District 5 is in the photo gallery. It extends along Plumtrees to Rockwell, across Stony Hill on the South side and runs to the Newtown border.
Those who did not vote in the last election should be on the lookout for 3 ½ x 5 post cards that were mailed out by The Registrar of Voters in February. The cards were only sent to people who did not vote in the last election. The postcards are being used to determine any changes in contact information. The Registrar is charged by State Statute to determine if people are at the same address, and to keep the voting lists up to date.
The cards were sent out February 1 and only about half of them have been returned. If you did not vote in the last election and have had a change of address, please call or return the card to the Registrar of Voters at the Municipal Center, or the Town Clerk's office at 1 School Street. Call 203-794-8516 if you have any questions.
