Christopher Shays (R): The Hartford Courant endorses Christopher Shays for the August 14 Republican primary. 

Susan Bysiewicz (D): Bysiewicz has pulled her controversial television ad that accused Democratic rival Chris Murphy of accepting the most Wall Street contributions of any candidate, reports Real Clear Politics. Bysiewicz stands by the claim and said the ad "had run its course."

Rosa DeLauro (D): Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro announced that she will tour the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station today, Aug. 6, at 10 a.m. DeLauro will be updated on the recently found . 

Wayne Winsley (R): Winsley posted on his Facebook page that he was meeting with voters at New Haven's Whalley Avenue Stop & Shop on Friday. Over the weekend, he made stops at community events in North Branford, Ansonia, and Orange.
