Conservation Commission Hosts Guided Hike

Woodbridge residents are invited to explore the Town's open spaces through monthly guided hikes

The Conservation Commission invites you to its monthly guided hike on Saturday March 5 at 11:30 a.m. at Elderslie Preserve (230 Peck Hill Road, Woodbridge). Commission member Frank DeLeo and trail master Mike Walter will lead the hike.

Contact Frank DeLeo for further information at 203-387-0530.

Since last fall the Conservation Commission has been hosting monthly guided hikes. To date, the Commission has led hikes through the woods behind the Massaro Community Farm; the Bishop Estate trail loop and the blue trail from the Center Road ball fields through the Fitzgerald Tract.

The guided hikes took a winter hiatus and are resuming for the spring.

The hikes are scheduled for the first weekend of the month and are intended to introduce residents to Woodbridge’s many miles of walking trails and open space.
