No Jurors Picked on Monday for Komisarjevsky Trial
Prosecution uses peremptory challenges to excuse two from jury.
No jurors were picked Monday for the trial of Joshua Komisarjevsky, who is charged in the Cheshire home invasion triple-homicide case.
State prosecutors used two peremptory challenges bringing their total to 31. Defense attorneys have used 34.
Each side gets a maximum of 40 peremptory challenges to excuse jurors without stating a reason.

Twelve regular jurors and one alternate juror have been chosen since jury selection began on March 16. Defense lawyers and prosecutors must still pick five more alternates and three backup alternates.
Komisarjevsky faces the death penalty for the murders of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters in 2007. The trial is scheduled to begin in September.
