The Municipal Election Is Approaching: Here Are Key Dates
The Bethany and Woodbridge Registrars of Voters are busy getting ready — and they want you to be prepared, too.

Municipal elections for Bethany and Woodbridge are a little over a month away and the Registrars of Voters are busy getting ready.
The Election will take place on Monday, May 6, and there are some important dates coming up quick that the Registrars want to make sure the public is aware of. Here they are:
Cut-off Dates

Mail in registration deadline for voting in the May 6 election (postmark) is April 22. Deadline for registering in person with Registrars is 8 p.m., Monday, April 29.
Registrars Session

A special enrollment session will be held at Woodbridge Town Hall on Tuesday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and at Bethany Town Hall on Tuesday, April 2, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the purpose of completion of the preliminary registry list.
Registrars Session
A special registration session will be held at the Registrars office on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registrars Session
Monday, April 29, is the in-person cut-off for voter registrations. Applicants must appear in person to the Registrar of Voters office between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Limited Session
There will be a limited enrollment session on Friday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for persons who attained age, citizenship or residency after the April 29 deadline.
Absentee Ballots
Applications for absentee ballots should be made through the Town Clerk’s office and will become available April 5. You may also download an application from the Secretary of the State’s website, simply click on “Elections and Voting” then “Absentee Ballot Application.”

The Town Clerk’s Office is available to register voters, for absentee ballots and to accept party changes Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Woodbridge. Bethany’s hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Monday evenings 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Amity Budget Referendum
The Amity Budget Referendum will be held in Bethany, Orange and Woodbridge on Wednesday, May 8. Polls will be open in all three towns from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
