Woodbridge Town Library Hosts Long Wharf Costume Director
First of three events around Shakespeare's Measure for Measure

The Woodbridge Town Library announces a partnership with Long Wharf Theatre in conjunction with Fiasco Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure. The show will run from November 25 through December 20, 2015 on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Mainstage Theatre at Long Wharf. The library will hold three events around the play that will allow all ages to become acquainted with Shakespeare and watch the play live at a discount.
New York City’s Fiasco Theater sheds new light on one of Shakespeare’s darkest comedies with live music and a dose of moxie. When the Duke of Vienna disguises himself as a friar among his people, he finds the city unraveling in an ethical free fall. Before he reclaims his dukedom, can he help the chaste Isabella save her brother from the condemnation of the villain Angelo? Fiasco’s creative ensemble illuminates Shakespeare’s perplexing plots to tell this singular tale of morality and manipulation.
