2 Injured In Bridgeport Beer Bottle Assault: Police
An assault with a beer bottle at a Bridgeport bar led to one person being hospitalized.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — One person was hospitalized after an assault with a beer bottle at a Bridgeport bar Sunday night, according to a police tweet. The call came in for an assault at 8:05 p.m. on the 400 block of East Main St.
One victim had a cut on their hand and the other suffered a head injury at Isla Restaurant. Police said that people at the bar were using beer bottles as weapons and several people were involved.
The case is under investigation.
