Suspect In Bridgeport Murder Arrested in Ohio

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The suspect in the April 6 murder of Bridgeport resident Brianna Destiny McKoy, 23, has been apprehended in Ohio, according to Bridgeport police.
Ainsley Forbes, also known as Derrick Francis, was arrested in Ohio by members of the Solon, Ohio Police Department in Cuyahoga County on Monday. He is being held in lieu of bail of $3 million.
According to Bridgeport police, Solon officers pulled Francis over during a motor vehicle stop, but he jumped out of the vehicle and ran. He was quickly detained, and police found a loaded firearm in the vehicle.

"Francis is being held in Ohio as a fugitive from justice," said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran. "He is pending arraignment and extradition back to Connecticut, where he will be charged with the murder of Brianna McKoy."
