Public Hearing Continued for Brookfield 6-Story Apartment Complex
The public hearing for the proposed apartment complex to be built at 777 and 763 Federal Road, Brookfield has been continued.

The public hearing on the proposed six story apartment building at 777 and 763 Federal Road in Brookfield originally scheduled for Jan. 14 has been postponed until Jan. 28, 2016, according to the Town’s Assistant Land Use Manager.
Francis Lollie, Assistant Land Use Manager and Zoning Enforcement Officer, told Patch that the public hearing for the Renaissance is being continued until Jan. 28, 2016 “while the Commission awaits our consultants reports and findings.”
The proposed 156-unit apartment complex called “The Renaissance” is proposed under the state’s 8-30g housing law that allows a developer to go around local zoning restrictions as long as the project includes affordable housing units.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Brookfield Town Hall, room 133.
