• Wartime Service Medals given to local veterans (newbritainherald.com) — Burlington veterans were among about 25 local service members honored with Connecticut Wartime Service Medals at a ceremony in Bristol's Rockwell Theater. State and local leaders joined the Veterans Strong Community Center to thank area veterans for their service and highlight that all eligible Connecticut veterans can apply for this recognition.
