The Vision 2050 proposal outlines roughly $9.9 million in bonded investments aimed at addressing long-deferred infrastructure needs.
The package focuses on three main areas: renovation of the Mills Pond recreational facilities, pavement management improvements to address underfunded road repairs, and a major school roof replacement.
Town officials have said bonding is being considered due to the scale of the costs and the long-term nature of the projects, which are intended to benefit residents over the next 25 years.
Canton First Selectman Kevin Witkos directed Canton Chief Administrative Officer Mark Penney to publish the full survey results on the town website, signaling an effort to increase transparency and public engagement as the proposal moves forward.
No formal decisions were made on the bonding package, and officials indicated that additional public input and analysis will inform future discussions.
