Cheshire Hires New Town Manager

The council unanimously approved the hiring to replace Town Manager Michael Milone when he retires.

CHESHIRE, CT — In a unanimous vote, the Town Council hired Sean Kimball Wednesday night to become Cheshire’s next Town Manager when Michael Milone retires in June, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Kimball, 36, will start on May 1 and earn $142,500 along with a $5,000 car allowance.

Kimball, a Cheshire resident, is currently the acting Town Manager and Finance Director in Simsbury and said becoming a town manager has been a career goal of his, according to the Register.
