Cheshire's Emma Farrel Honored as NE-10 Rookie of the Week

Cheshire’s Emma Farrel, a freshman on the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team, has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week.

Farrel powered the Owls to a 3-2 win over Southern New Hampshire last week, tallying a hat trick in a stretch of 3 minutes, 27 seconds in the first half.

Southern Connecticut finished the 2014 season with a final record of 3-15.
