DANBURY, CT — Bowling, gaming — and karaoke — are coming to the Danbury Fair Mall.
Round1 Bowling & Amusement, which offers bowling, arcade games, billiards, karaoke, ping pong, darts and similar activities in indoor facility complexes across the country, has announced it will be moving into Forever 21's old space in the lower level off the center court.
Round1 will also be putting an entertainment center into Arrowhead Towne Center in Phoenix, another property operated by Danbury Fair Mall owner Macerich, the company announced Tuesday.

"As our A-quality properties continue to attract a wide variety of new uses and new concepts, best-in-class, large-format entertainment companies are increasingly choosing Macerich destinations for their new locations," said Doug Healey a senior executive vice president at the mall owner. "More and more, people want physical places where they can be together and have fun."
A date for the opening has not yet been released.

The Round1 reveal follows swiftly the announcement last month that Target would open a two-level, 126,000-square-foot store in the space formerly occupied by Sears in the mall.
