Nearest Spirit Halloween Is Now Open For Danbury-Area Shoppers (patch.com) — Danbury residents can now start planning their Halloween early with the opening of a Spirit Halloween store at 15 Backus Avenue, Suite 9, in the former Five Below space. The shop offers costumes, decorations, and animatronics for all ages, with extended weekend hours, and also serves nearby communities like Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown, Redding, and Ridgefield.

British citizen with multiple pending CT cases gets 10 days in prison for illegally entering US (newstimes.com) — A British citizen with multiple pending Connecticut cases, including a larceny charge in Danbury, has been sentenced to 10 days in federal prison for illegally reentering the U.S. His Danbury, Torrington and Bridgeport cases are expected to be resolved next month, after which he faces removal to the United Kingdom.
