On 12/26/12, there were no calls for paramedics. Actually, the end of December in 2012 was relatively light for paramedic response times. On 12/26/12, Post responded to three calls. When the weather was clear, Post had an excellent response times of 6:57 and 5:17 including dispatch time for a call involving a fall. This call did not result in hospitalization. The other two calls took place when snow was falling and involved unknown problems. The Post response times were terrible. The response times were 22, 22, 15 and 12 minutes including dispatch time of about 2 minutes. Both calls involved hospitalization. I do not know why paramedics were not called. Perhaps, it was the snow in the early evening and all SEMS and Norwalk units were busy. I want to point out that for 12/22, 12/23, 12/24 and 12/25, I included all paramedic calls. I did not cherry pick the calls. Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
