The third paramedic call involved Norwalk unit 401 responding to an unconscious/fainting problem. Unit 401 was on scene in 11 minutes but the time on scene after CMED received the call was 13 minutes. The fourth and final call involved Post being on scene for 6 minutes before realizing paramedics were needed. Unit 201 from Stamford Hospital was en route for one minute before stopping and being replaced by unit 202 which took 17 minutes to reach the scene after CMED received the call. I believe the one minute cancelled call for unit 201 is included in the overall average time. If it is, then it artificially lowers the response time. For 12/28/12 the average time including dispatch time increases from 15.8 to 17.25. Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
