Does Darien have a contingency plan that has a paramedic based in Darien during periods of extreme weather? This would permit paramedics to respond more quickly to Darien patients in severe storms. Extreme weather might even completely prevent paramedics from reaching Darien patients because transit to Darien would be blocked or paramedics would be totally absorbed by calls within Stamford and Norwalk and thus be unavailable for mutual aid. I am not sure Post 53 or Jayme Stevenson would even think to consider such a contingency plan. Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
