WEATHER UPDATE: Heavy Rain, Fog, and Wind Forecast for Darien Today
After Monday's rain the weather improves for the rest of the week, but it will feel chilly.
After a glorious weekend of weather, which brought bright sunshine both days, and 70 degrees on Saturday, it’s back to reality today.
We’ll be dealing with heavy rain, which we need, and fog for most of Monday and Monday evening. Also winds will be gusty between 25-30 mph for most of Monday.
During the day today we could receive up to a half inch of rain. Also the temperatures will be hovering in the low 50s, another big change from this past weekend.

Rain will continue Monday night and up to another half inch of rain is possible before it ends early Tuesday. The temps rebound on Tuesday as cloudy skies turn partly sunny in the afternoon and we could hit 70 degrees again.
More rain showers are possible Wednesday, followed by sunny skies Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Each day the temps are forecast to be in the low to mid-50s.

Monday, Scattered showers. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 54. Southeast wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tonight, A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Areas of fog. Low around 48. Southeast wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
