Durham, Middlefield's Weekend Weather Forecast

In the winter, we saw seven straight weekends of snow and ice.

This weekend, we’re looking at sun and chilly temperatures. Well, chilly as compared to last week’s 70-degree weather.

Before we get to the actual weekend, we’ll have to contend with the potential for patchy frost early Friday.

The National Weather Service actually mentions the wind chill value on Friday, which will be between 30-40 degrees. Friday night will be chilly too, with temps in the mid 30s.

But Saturday will approach 60 degrees and there will be plenty of sunshine, and on Sunday temps will be around the same, with more sun.

• Friday: Patchy frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 56. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

• Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind 3 to 8 mph.

• Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 60. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.

• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.

• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.
