Join us for Talk of the Towns, a distinctive evening featuring a quartet of mini talks, presented by the Coginchaug Valley Education Foundation (CVEF). The evening wIll be held on Friday, November 14th at Indian Springs Golf Club from 7-9 pm. The format is centered around lively 10-minute talks delivered by members of the Durham/Middlefield community, featuring author Leslie Bulion, Egyptologists Colleen and John Darnell, Yale Emergency Room doctor Andrew Taylor, and volcano-chaser Joop VareKamp.
Doors open Friday night at 6:30 pm and space is limited with talks beginning promptly at 7 pm. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available. The evening is free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. Indian Springs is located on Mack Road in Middlefield, CT.
Founded in 2008 as an independent education foundation, CVEF seeks to promote excellence, innovation and creativity in education for the community and to support life-long learning in Durham and Middlefield. CVEF holds annual fundraising events to support its grant program.
