East Hampton House Fire Displaces Three Residents
No one was injured in the early-morning blaze at a home on Flanders Road.
A house fire at 65 Flanders Road in East Hampton this morning displaced the home's three residents.
The fire, which broke out just before 7 a.m., is currently under investigation by the town's fire marshal, police at the scene said.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was battled by departments from East Hampton, Portland, Colchester and Glastonbury, police added. By shortly after 9 a.m. the fire crews had cleared the scene and the fire marshal was inspecting the home.
Police did not identify the home's occupants, but said all three made it out of the house safely. The residents are staying with relatives who live nearby, police added.

The ranch-style home sustained heat and smoke damage, but did not appear to sustain major structural damage, police said. Officials from the town's building department arrived on the scene around 9:30 a.m. to investigate the home's structural integrity and will determine if it's livable.
