The East Hampton Police are investigating a series of kayak larcenies that have occurred around Lake Pocotopaug over the past 10 days.
The kayaks have been reported stolen from the beach front area of Edgemere Condominiums. Seven reports have been filed as of July 5th. To date, one has been recovered, but not yet identified by the owner.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding these recent thefts to contact them at 860-267-9544 or 860-267-9922. Officer Pekar is the contact for these cases.
