The girls of Breaking Silences have taken on the task of writing an original play based on beauty. Walk the runway with them as they enter a beauty contest only to find out it has nothing to do with physical beauty. 21 girls have written about their life experiences and what it is like growing up in a world that dicates what a young women should look and act like. Breaking apart magazine and commercial ads and redefining the word beauty, the girls take a look at what is most important to them, true beauty. March 14 & 15, 7:00pm. $7 admission, $5 students and seniors.
