Cheryl Saccavino obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Cheryl Saccavino, 57, of Branford passed away March 27, 2026 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born April 13, 1968 in New Haven to James Sr. and JoAnn (Acampora) Saccavino. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Sean Nolan and her daughter, Chrystal Saccavino (Ryan Bourgoin) of West Warwick, RI. She is also survived by two brothers, James Saccavino Jr. (Jill) of Branford and Fred Saccavino (Mike) of Bristol along with a niece, Toni Dutka (TJ Monaco).

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ernest McCauley, and a niece, Kaili Saccavino.

Cheryl grew up in East Haven, CT. She was a fun loving social butterfly who loved to goof around and make friends with anyone she met. When she was a little girl, she loved to dance and was lucky to dance on stage at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT. She loved attending rock concerts and caring for her pets, an English bulldog named Chloe and several cats. She also enjoyed walking in her garden and watching her favorite TV shows.

Family will receive friends on Friday April 3, 2026 from 4 PM until the time of service at 6 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.
