East Haven Rotary Club's Students Of The Month Honored
The "very accomplished and hard-working" EHHS juniors Lainie D'Auria and Natalie Brown recieved a certificate and a check from Rotarians.

EAST HAVEN, CT —Recently, the East Haven Rotary Club honored their latest Student of the Month recipients for the months of November and December, Lainie D’Auria and Natalie Brown.
The "very accomplished and hard-working women" are currently in this year’s junior class at East Haven High School.
D’Auria has been a gymnast for the past 13 years. She is a participant in the Leadership Council and is a member of the National Honor Society. Her future plans include college to study Environmental Law.

Brown has played volleyball for three years, soccer for the past 13 years, including off season Rec League and Premier League Soccer. She plans to continue her soccer career and help lead the team as a captain. She's a member of the Leadership Council and is a member of the National Honor Society and the Math League. After high school, she plans to attend college and major in Psychology or Engineering and pursue a career in the field of her study.
Each month, the Rotary recognizes a student from East Haven High School's junior class. The club has recently been invited to make these presentations at Superintendent Erica Forti’s monthly, District Wide Students of the Month Assembly, which takes place the last Friday of the month in the Media Center at East Haven High School.

The East Haven Rotary Club presents each honoree with a certificate and a check for $100. Winners then become eligible for the $1,000 Jack Leary Memorial Scholarship to be awarded at the end of their senior year. The Club, now in its 84th year, was organized on March 3, 1939.
