Julia (Kasarauskas) Clemons obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Julia (Kasarauskas) Clemons, 86 of East Haven passed away April 23, 2026. She was born April 19, 1940 in New Haven to the late Anthony and Margaret (Hodak) Kasarauskas. Julia is survived by her loving siblings; Charlotte Tolland (widow of Richard Tolland) of East Haven, Pauline Faughnan (John) of East Haven and John Kasarauskas (Lois) of Hamden along with five nieces/nephews; Richard Tolland (Diane), Paula Tolland, Sonya Tolland, Tracy Rothwell (Chris) and Michael Faughnan. She is also survived by her four great nephews; Jake Faughnan, Cru Faughnan, Maxwell Rothwell and Alex Rothwell.

Julia loved her five cats. She enjoyed roller skating, playing cards and going to the casino. She loved having ice cream every night and traveling to Vermont and New Hampshire.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday April 29, 2026 at 11 AM in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven. Please go directly to the church on Wednesday with her burial to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. All Services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.

In honor of Julia and her favorite color, the family is requesting all to wear some “red” in her memory on Wednesday.
