Kathleen (Peterson) Warfield obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Kathleen (Peterson) Warfield, 81 of Branford CT, and Sun City Center Florida passed away March 24, 2026 in Florida. She was born November 20, 1944 in New Haven to John and Margaret (Scully) Peterson. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard S Warfield and their son Howard S Warfield III along with three grandchildren; Victoria, Alexander, and Sophia Warfield, and a great granddaughter, Amara “Victoria”.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, her son John D Warfield, and her brother Stephen C Peterson.

She graduated from Branford High School and began her career at SNET. After working various jobs, she retired from Grove J Tuttle School in East Haven where she was the office secretary. When they retired they wintered in Sun City Center Florida.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a funeral service on Tuesday April 7 at 11 AM in the Tabor Lutheran Church, 45 Tabor Drive, Branford CT 06405 (Please go directly to the church) with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
