• East Haven Firefighter Dan Dudek's Name Added To Connecticut State Firefighters Memorial (patch.com) — East Haven residents are remembering retired firefighter Dan Dudek, whose name has now been added to the Connecticut State Firefighters Memorial following his death from occupational-related cancer. Current and retired East Haven firefighters gathered Sunday to honor his legacy and support his widow, son Cody, and extended family as they marked his decades of service to the town.
   

• 2 New Haven men charged in armed robberies of Hamden, East Haven stores (ctpost.com) — Federal prosecutors say two New Haven men are charged in armed robberies that include an April holdup at ZaZa City on Foxon Road in East Haven, where cash and cannabis products were stolen.
