Enfield, Fermi Field Hockey Alumni Set for Annual Battle

Former Raider and Falcon players from the 1960s through the 2010s are encouraged to join in for a day of fun, camaraderie and memories.

ENFIELD, CT — It's time once again to dust off the sticks and get back into game shape in preparation for the sixth annual Enfield vs. Fermi high school alumni field hockey game.

This year's contest will take place Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Carl Angelica Memorial Field at Enfield High School. Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30.

As the home team, Enfield Raider graduates are asked to wear white shirts, while Fermi Falcon alumnae should be clad in black. Graduates of either school from all years are encouraged to participate, and any 2017 or 2018 graduates who played for both programs will be allowed to choose which side to join.

Former goaltenders are strongly encouraged to play.

An award is presented each year to the "most veteran" returnee, with the record being held by Diane (Teske) O’Brien, a 1975 Fermi graduate who played in the 2015 event.
