Enfield Girls Receive More Votes in Basketball Poll

ENFIELD, CT — A big victory over previously-unbeaten RHAM generated some additional voter support for the Enfield High School girls basketball team in the weekly poll of coaches and media members.

The Eagles (10-3) did not crack the top 10 for the second straight week, but look to reclaim that position following tough games Tuesday against Wethersfield and Friday at Conard.

Mercy (11-0) captured eight of 14 first-place votes to lead the rankings outright for the second straight week. New London (12-0) garnered the other six top spots to place second.
